Charles Columbus

Charles H Columbus is the President and Co-Founder of Columbus Associates LLC, a consulting boutique focused on strategic and financial decision making.  He also serves as the Non-Executive Vice Chairman of Impact NRS, formerly named NRS Health & Wellness of which he was a co-founder and served in various senior management positions over the past 12 years.  NRS is an innovation platform encompassing bioscience, agriculture and data science pioneering commercial solutions that enhance global health.

Prior to Impact NRS, he had a distinguished banking career at three international banking institutions in structured and corporate finance. He has successfully developed co-venture and private equity fund businesses. As head of HSBC’s real estate investment banking, he was responsible for its advisory business and the launch of the first-ever open-end, Shariah-compliant investment fund.  As Managing Director of WestLB’s NY structured finance department, he formed and managed the bank’s successful entry into project and aircraft financing, asset securitization and leveraged finance. Prior to his decade at WestLB, he was a Managing Director of Chase Manhattan Bank, where he helped launch the bank’s investment banking effort over a 20-year career. He holds a BS degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from NYU Graduate School of Business and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
